Parish Sponsorship Suggestions

First Priority – Adult Sponsor as a prayer partner! 

Second priority – Financial support
Parishioners may sponsor either way or both!  

• Have students write why going to this retreat is important etc.  and place this on a poster with their photo on a Bulletin Board in back of Church gathering space. Put student’s name and a Holy Spirit Novena prayer on business card for the sponsor to take home to pray before, during and after retreat.
  
• Sponsors may write a letter to the student to be collected before the retreat and given to the student at the end of the retreat.
  
• Place envelopes with student business cards for donations, and form to be completed for a student’s name (even if for prayer)
  
• Donations may be anonymous

  Parishioners may sponsor one as a group of families or as individuals – full or partial amounts.
  
• General donations towards Retreat by generous benefactors welcome!

These are just suggestions that have worked great in other parishes – you may have other great ideas, but it is good to involve the parish to support the young people and this retreat.
